World Hope Forum

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the World Hope Forum will host a virtual event focused on cultural sustainability, curated by Monica Boța-Moisin. This free event, titled Interdependence, Interconnectedness, Kin & Care, will explore how cultural knowledge systems and values of kinship and care can transform creative and social landscapes for a more inclusive future.

From 9:00–12:00 EST (New York) and 15:00–18:00 CET (Paris), inspiring speakers will share their insights on topics ranging from cultural heritage preservation to sustainable practices in fashion and design. Featured speakers include Monica Boța-Moisin, cultural IP lawyer and sustainability advocate; Tara Gujadhur, co-founder of the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre in Laos; and Marlene Herberth, anthropologist and co-founder of KraftMade. Other distinguished speakers will share experiences from diverse global contexts, fostering discussions on interdependence and sustainability in the creative industries.
